Overview
Eligibility: MTB Tauranga Member, owns a mountain bike, can ride grade 3 trails, known to DirtCraft.
Age – 11 to 15 year old.
Location – To be confirmed.
Time – 3 day camps
Objectives
– To facilitate learning of a wider range of MTB knowledge.
– To assist character development with situational learning.
– Deliver an enjoyable MTB camp!
What is the Programme?
MTB Education Camp (MEC) is a three-day education camp open to all DirtCraft riders within the age bracket.
The camp is delivered in an engaging way to broaden riders knowledge and understanding of the sport in a fun manner. Each camp covers off the following.

Fees
The cost of our 3 day MEC Camp is $380
This cost covers:
– MTB specific coaching
– Guiding fun Campsite & venue usage
– Overnight management
– Food including: 2 lunches, 2 dinners, Breakfast staples & Snacks
– 3 days of on & off bike activities & fun
– Customised education workshops based on the demands of those who register
– Opportunities to grow and learn independence, autonomy, accountability, resilience and other foundational life skills.
Rider Assistance Initiative (RAI)
Our Rider Assistance Initiative aims to allow riders and families to be able to apply for a DirtCraft Scholarship to continue to participate, development and compete in the opportunities offered by DirtCraft. This Initiative is made possible thanks to our financial sponsors and has been setup to enable riders from all different backgrounds to continue to participate in the sport that we love.
