AIMS MTB Mock Race
Overview
We are excited to be delivering an AIMS MTB Mock Race.
This is a great opportunity for your child to practice racing the courses prior to the big show in September.
The objective of the Mock Race is for riders to gain an understanding of the demands of each event prior to the competition. Therefore, they can go into the event with a realistic understanding of race expectations, physical demands, technical needs of the race and use the mock race to try out pacing strategy etc.

Summerhill MTB Park.

Year 7 & Year 8
Disciplines
Cross Country (XCO), Enduro (EDR), Technical Skill Testing (TST).
Courses
The course will be the official AIMS Games 2026 courses. The mock race will see very light course marking.
Cost
$30 XCO
$40 EDR
$45 TST
All payments need to be made by Wednesday 19th Aug. If we have not recieved payment by this date there will be an additional late entry fee of $10 per entry to be paid in cash on the day.

We have two enduro timeslots. Riders can choose to either race enduro in the morning or afternoon.
We have added two technical skill testing slots.
There will be no prizegiving. Results will be posted on our website after the day has concluded.
Additional Infomation
Contingency: More infomation will come regarding using our contingency date of Saturday 29th August.
Refunds: If you have entered and are no longer able to make the race, we will not be doing any refunds.
Transfers:If a rider wishes to transfer their registration this can be done so to another eligible rider.
DirtCraft offers a clear transfer process:
Transfers to another person or category are allowed up to 7 days before the event. Transfers are not allowed within 7 days of the event.
· A $25 transfer fee applies.
· Any difference in entry fees must be paid.
· Transfers are not valid for future years.
· Must be submitted by email to info@dirtcraft.nz.
· Entries may not be sold privately.
· No Refund is provided.
Technical Skill Testing: These events will include practice, some skills, tips and tricks from our DirtCraft coaches and a mock test similar layout to AIMS Games event day. They will be roughly 2-hours long.
