National School MTB Mock Race
Overview
We are excited to be delivering a National School MTB Mock Race.
This is a great opportunity for your child to practice racing the courses prior to the big show in October.
The objective of the Mock Race is for riders to gain an understanding of the demands of each event prior to the competition. Therefore, they can go into the event with a realistic understanding of race expectations, physical demands, technical needs of the race and use the mock race to try out pacing strategy etc.

Saturday 19th & Sunday 20th September
Contingency Date: Saturday 26th & Sunday 27th September.
Venue
Summerhill MTB Park.
Divisions
U13, U14, U15, U16, U17, U20
Disciplines
Cross Country Short Track (XCC), Cross Country (XCO), Enduro (EDR).
Courses
The course will be the official National School 2026 courses. The mock race will see very light course marking.
Cost
$50 XCO & XCC
$50 EDR
On the day entries – Cash Only $10 additional late entry fee per race.

Entries open 19th July.

Entries shut 17th September.
We will take on the day cash late entries after the 17th Sept. There is an additional $10 late entry fee per race.
The ENDURO AM is FULL and we will not be taking anymore late entries on the day for this event.
We will be taking late entries for ENDURO PM and XCO & XCC.

Additional Infomation
Contingency: If we need to use the contingency dates (26th & 27th Sept) we will communicate this to via email prior to the races commencing.
Refunds: If you have entered and are no longer able to make the race, we will not be doing any refunds.
Transfers:If a rider wishes to transfer their registration this can be done so to another eligible rider.
DirtCraft offers a clear transfer process:
Transfers to another person or category are allowed up to 7 days before the event. Transfers are not allowed within 7 days of the event.
· A $25 transfer fee applies.
· Any difference in entry fees must be paid.
· Transfers are not valid for future years.
· Must be submitted by email to info@dirtcraft.nz.
· Entries may not be sold privately.
· No Refund is provided.
