Overview
AIMSFit prepares our riders to take the most they can from the AIMS Games Mountain Biking event. DirtCraft does this by building the skills, fitness and confidence required to take on the AIMS Games.
Location: Summerhill MTB Park.
What is the Programme?
The programme is split into Enduro and Cross Country sessions.
We have broken the sessions into three groups:
Complete, Compete & Podium
Complete groups are aimed for riders who are aiming to complete Aims Games.
Compete groups are aimed for riders who are aiming for Top 15 placing for boys categories and Top 7 placing for girls categories.
Podium groups are aimed for riders who are aiming for Top 5 placing for boys categories and Top 3 for girls categories.
We prepare the riders for the physical demands of the event along with the confidence to ride the course to the best of their ability come race day.
Term 3 2026 Timeline
Registrations open: Tuesday 23rd June.
Term starts: Sunday 19th July.
Registrations shut: Sunday 2nd August.
Term ends: Sunday 6th September.
There will be 6 sessions delivered throughout Term 3.
All Term 3 sessions are 1.5 hours long.
As Zespri AIMS Games occurs the week of the 6th of September we intend to have all six sessions already delivered by this date. If for some reason we are unable to deliver all six session by this date we will communicate the plan to you via email.
Prerequisites
Rider is current Mountainbike Tauranga Club Member.
Rider able to ride Grade 3 trails or higher.
Rider demonstrates adequate level of fitness & commitment.
Rider has suitable equipment.
Rider is Year 7 or Year 8.
Rider understands Mountain Biking has prevalent risk.

Registrations open for Term 3 2026 early morning on Tuesday 23rd March.
There are two payment options. You can either pay manually via bank transfer or instantly via Stripe. (Stripe fees apply)
Please be aware that groups fill up very fast and it is a first in first served basis.
